This is why I got involved with Fitness Anywhere and TRX. I’ve always been a Brees fan through our AdvoCare business but I was upset when he was traded to the New Orleans Saints from our San Diego Chargers. Even though he played in New Orleans he kept training with the best personal trainer in the business, Todd Durkin, whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Well, better late than never I guess. One of my so-called resolutions for this year is that I blog more. One of the subjects I would like to discuss is management and more specifically how to motivate your people. I don’t claim to have all the answers - if anything I may use this platform to vent.

Enough about that. Today I started my TRX programming again and I going to use Todd Durkin’s Train Like the Pros series for the next few weeks. After that I would like to transition into the TRX 12 week military program and complete that by the end of spring. I’m still running but not at the pace I was a year ago. I’ve been suffering from some pain in my knee and feet and think that I may have overtrained for the half marathon in March. As for half’s, Im looking at the new San Diego Half Marathon that will take place with the Rock N Roll Marathon in June. I just need to figure out a way to get there.

Haven’t posted in a while, been rethinking my focus in life.
I’m more than half-way through this first quarter of school since I decided to go back.
Here are some things I’ve learned along the way:
- I should have done this two years ago.
- I should have done this like 5 years ago.
- Online classes are more than what I expected.
- Sociology is fun! Really, I like it.
- I need to be more organized.
- I’m still hard on myself, I’m a work in progress.
- I’m already looking forward to next quarter.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my future and where it’s going to take me in the next 10 years. It’s not just a job, it’s an adventure. :) Have a great summer, y’all!
