Fitness Anywhere TRX Suspension Trainer FORCE Kit

Designed by a Navy SEAL as a go anywhere workout, this set of nylon straps creates resistance from two sources always at your disposal: body weight and gravity. Lock the straps onto any elevated fixture - a pullup bar, door, or tree branch - and you’ll unlock new dimensions in your training. Resistance can be adjusted from 5 percent to 100 percent of body weight by changing the incline of your body.

John Hood, a Navajo and Vietnam vet, has created many works in his job as a Caltrans graphic artist. But the picture of an immigrant family running has resonated far beyond his office cubicle.

Hope is in the bag.

I just got a gift from my better half and it came in this swell bag. I love the simple design at the use of the colors, not to mention the great message.

Who backed up into my mailbox?

To whoever backed into my mailbox - Merry Christmas. Do you not even have the common courtesy to leave a note? Monday morning I walk out to the mailbox to find this. It must have happened over the weekend and I do remember seeing many cars in our culdesac. I thought it was the garbage truck picking up trash that morning but I couldn’t prove it. Oh well. I hope the dent in your car is worse than the dent in my mailbox.

Back to the Future

It’s Saturday and we’re visiting Clinton, a small town just North of Knoxville. We stopped for lunch at Hoskins Drug Store which has a real soda fountain and has been around since the 1930’s. I had the cheeseburger & chocolate shake which I think is the closest thing to an In-N-Out burger I’ve had in a long time. Too bad I couldn’t get it “animal style”. If you get chance to visit East Tennessee check out Clinton, this place looks like the set from Back to the Future!
Next we head over to the antique district of Clinton. Stay tuned for more.
