GodTube is Born Again as MySpace-Like Tangle

Just as GodTube was a pretty obvious re-skinned copy of YouTube, Tangle looks to be much like MySpace, but targeted towards people of faith.

Great logo, great re-branding of an already successful site.

Philips Master LED light bulb set for US release in July

The 40W-equivalent bulbs should run between $50 and $70, and expected lifetime is set at 45,000 hours. So would you pay that much for a light bulb?

Yours truly featured on Knoxify.com, KnoxifyTV debuts!

It makes me happy to know that there are people like the folks over at Knoxify.com that want to make a positive impact in our community. I was given an opportunity to be on KnoxifyTV and let potential companies see who I am and how I can help them with their creative, marketing and advertising needs. At the same time KnoxifyTV could be something that could really take off and I hope that we can all work together again.

Thanks to Casey & Brandon at Knoxify.com, Patrick at MSQ Studio and Alex at JAO Productions for making all of this possible. Watch KnoxifyTV after the jump.

Tropicana goes back to old design

Last week Pepsi Co. stated that they will return to the previous design on their juice cartons and scrapping the new design that they launched a few months ago. I remember seeing this new packaging in Florida and my first thought was that I didn’t like it. If you know me, I’m a big orange juice lover although I don’t treat myself that often due to the high calorie intake but this story intrigued me. See the video after the jump about the designer defending his agency’s new design. Check out the way he holds the mic, we designers are a strange bunch.

Thirsty.

The artist behind the iconic ‘running immigrants’ image - Los Angeles Times

John Hood, a Navajo and Vietnam vet, has created many works in his job as a Caltrans graphic artist. But the picture of an immigrant family running has resonated far beyond his office cubicle.

Freedom Ops action figures

Just saw these at the store. Sweet site here, but not as cool as G.I. Joe action figures.
